It’s 2025 Q3 and we’re still waiting on the $LINEA airdrop lol

Tbh, I don’t think it’s gonna be a successful one, here’s why:

- People have been waiting forever, expectations are way too high to meet
- Every L2 besides Arbitrum, Base, and OP is basically dead. 99% of recipients will insta-dump
- Linea team knows the L2 space is a graveyard rn. They might drop some ridiculous criteria and cut off most users (even if they say “used Linea in the last 3 months,” ~60% gone lmao)
- If they go that route, it’s just gonna feel like “let’s do an airdrop just to say we did it”
- Starknet and zkSync basically used their airdrops as exit liquidity for the team. I think Linea will do the same
