The #1 reason most startups die? They skip the unsexy part: real market research. Everyone’s in a rush to build, mint, ship, and “go to market.” But hope is not a strategy. Most founders? They guess → ship → flop ...then blame timing, traction, or say “Web3 is early.” Truth is: You built on vibes, not insight. Here’s what I tell every founder I work with: If you haven’t talked to your market, you’re not building for them. You’re building for your own imagination. And that kills: → Traction → Retention → Momentum Real research = real understanding: • What people are actually struggling with • What they’ve already tried (and hated) • What they’re already doing to cope • What they’d actually pay for • The words they use • Who they trust Skip that? You’ll waste time, miss the mark, and wonder why no one bites. It’s not the market. It’s the research gap. Start there. Build smarter.
