How I balance crypto portfolio risks and my one non-negotiable rule
Crypto isn’t a game of YOLO. It’s a game of survival of the fittest.
Here’s how I balance the chaos and the 1 rule I never break. 👇
Divide by volatility:
50% long-term conviction (BTC, ETH, majors)
30% mid-risk alts with real builders
20% degen plays (yes, rugs included)
The ratio flexes, but the framework doesn’t.
Rotate with the cycle. In a bear: stack blue chips, In a bull market, let the small caps cook, but trim aggressively.
Volatility = opportunity, not identity.
Use stablecoins as firepower. Cash is a position, and dry powder is how you win the dips. Don’t underestimate peace of mind.
My non-negotiable rule:
I never overexpose myself to anything I don’t understand, no matter how hyped it is or who's shilling it, because ignorance = hidden leverage. 1 reply
