Until Uniswap hooks are approved, you must buy and sell on fey.money Failure to do so will result in losses due to slippage

Wish I'd have known this when swapping using farcaster wallet, I swapped $274 within 7 minutes of token launch and received $0.07 worth of FEY. Can you help explain how this happened. https://basescan.org/tx/0xed5936779f5c0390f2bba31151131936371fa0c563e14d6ed75750e0d71f2748

Didn't they say to use their website directly if you want to buy?

Yes they did BUT after many people complained. That’s why it’s so shitty! This should have been told to everyone before launch. NOT after LOYAL supporters of early projects get TOTALLY REKT! https://base.app/post/0x7a34cdacad84024d94f62ee218ceca43083600cd

We said this in the first thread on X and farcaster The second tweet was an emphasis/reminder wallets should show you total slippage, and warn the user - and I’m sorry this happened https://farcaster.xyz/feyprotocol/0x01592fdc

Na the first cast said you'll get the best price for fey, 2nd one after launch says you must use fey.money which are 2 different things, anyway what's done is done.

I blame myself for not paying more attention, surely you can see from the wording in 1st and 2nd cast mean 2 different things.

Yeah, over 99% slippage is absolutely insane. When a project is launched and heavily promoted within Base and Farcaster, you’d expect these kinds of issues to be identified and resolved before launch. It’s frustrating when loyal community members try to support a new project like $FEY, buying in just minutes after launch, only to lose more than 99% of their funds due to slippage. That’s unacceptable. Developers need to think these scenarios through and clearly communicate potential risks before promoting a project. Community trust is everything when launching something new. Allowing early supporters to get completely rekt not only hurts the project but damages confidence across the entire ecosystem. If people keep losing money this way, they’ll stop supporting new launches altogether — and that’s bad for everyone.
