i got into crypto for sci-fi grade, cypherpunk technologies

as products, those seem unattainable, unattractive and far fetched

and the stablecoin type applications or defi-in-the-back types seem too boring to excite me anymore 

where do we go from here

in a way
the cypherpunk dream died in 2020-21
when we realized we can't have a crypto-backed stablecoin at scale 
or any sort of scaling tech on bitcoin without added trust assumptions 

i wasn't even in the purist camp back then 
i was on the risk calls trying to get wbtc into maker and rage tweeting ineffectiveness of lightning 

but that was when the dream died 
it was the beginning of the end

so you're saying your cypherpunk dream DAId? (sorry)

That’s why it pains me to see so many wailing on ETH. 

It represents the strongest chance of carrying the cypher punk torch forward.
