Broke and poor people largely have the wrong idea about money. This is why, for the most part, they find it difficult to break out of that cycle. Most broke and poor people I know interpret wasteful or compulsive spending as a sign of wealth or beinf rich. I have never seen a truly wealthy or rich person do such. And by wealthy or rich, those who amassed money through public office aren’t in this category. Spending money is not what qualifies one as wealthy but making such by creating, solving or producing something that people need or want and willing to pay for.

Well said. Real wealth is built through value creation, not flashy spending. The loudest money often isn’t the smartest.

Yes you have a valid point, the riches don't make it obvious that they re super rich, they invest more and more
