Vali Graham, a 21-year-old Australian daredevil, recently suffered serious injuries after attempting to break a world record in "death diving" (also known as døds diving). On June 11, he jumped from an astonishing height of 42.5 meters (about 139 feet or the height of a 13-story building) off Minnehaha Falls in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. He entered the water in a "pike" position, which caused a massive impact. The result: Fractured skull, Broken vertebrae and sternum, Ruptured eardrum. He underwent surgeries for his spine and sternum. Incredibly, he began walking again just two days later and is now recovering at home.
