"No that’s WhatsApp, iMessages etc." those apps are for talking to people you already know, old Twitter/Farcaster style text social fills a gap to be the online party space where you have group chat speed dynamics (instant feedback on what you say) but the potential audience is the entire Internet and for Reddit, you're conflating what the audience uses Reddit for (yes 99% just use it to lurk and are there to learn) vs what creators are there to do (good Reddit creators post content that gets conversations going) creators, the people who create the content you are then trying to sell to lurkers, joined Farcaster to have conversations about crypto, decentralization, etc. when you joined, there was nothing to learn here... just people to hang out with and talk to that's how it was when I joined too (check the FID) and it was a good space for that! it was the known primary use case up until February 2024 when the previous management decided to pivot away from the feed that showed you a constant stream of what people were talking about to a feed that... I don't know wanted to be TikTok/Instagram lite? make this a great place for people to talk to each other again and reap the benefits, then you'll get the downstream affect of people joining here because great content is being produced people go to Reddit to learn from the conversations, people go to Twitter to learn from the conversations, there's no reason you can't make that happen here too especially because this is still the best place to have crypto conversations on the Internet
