airdrops used to be a way of rewarding the people who believed in you when you were nothing now they're just another way of trying to convince people to believe "we gave you an airdrop, love us" vs "you loved us, here's an airdrop"

as mike says, one is clear marketing https://farcaster.xyz/mikedcryptoguy/0x9817eade which is fine! I'm a marketer at heart, people gonna use the tools they have but don't expect to get the same love and affection that, say, Uniswap had when they airdropped when your airdrop is just another line item in the Q2 marketing budget
