that's their justification why we can't have a normal "following" feed like twitter does where you see everything from the people you follow (on this app, you never see posts where someone you follow replies to someone else)

Reply bumping is a feature, not a bug

funny thing is that we used to have reply bumping on here up till February 2024

then they removed it when there was a flood of new users and certain OGs complained about "noisy feeds"

we did a whole data analysis showing how badly that move hurt conversations on here and the reply from Merkle was just "no your data is wrong" lol
