I don't hold anything against people who work/worked at Coinbase but I also don't give them any elevated level of respect vs other people in the industry I worked at a company a decade ago that was a first mover in a new industry a lot of people who worked there had elevated egos because of quick success and now, 10 years on, most of those people haven't reached professional success anywhere near that first job Coinbase is impressive, but they were also first movers in a new hypergambling industry as long as crypto kept going up and they didn't defraud customers, they were going to be successful because their product was addictive important to keep that perspective when evaluating the story imo
