I'm skeptical anyone would play a game like that onchain vs on a centralized server

yup I get it, I'm just skeptical of that future (although I know a lot of people believe in it)

I think the benefits of centralization for game assets are always going to outweigh the marginal benefits of throwing anything about it onchain

there will probably always be onchain games as a curiosity, but it won't be a dominant use case to the point where 500k NFTs minted in a single transaction is an actual user ask

They will when they don't know it's onchain, and I also think there's a world where the games are centralized and the records/stats/metadata are onchain. Complimentary

Also not saying it would be No Man's Sky, was just trying to think of an extremely massive generative system based game
