Starting today, the trending feed will be removed from Farcaster apps. 

Trending was launched a few years ago to help user discovery. Since then we've added better ways to discover users: in-feed suggestions, rewards leaderboards and algo recommendations. 

Fewer than 5% of users check the trending feed everyday, and the algo we use for trending is no longer helpful for discovering new users. In the spirit of simplifying the app, we're removing this feature which has long outlived its purpose.

Wasn’t prominent enough. I liked going to trending, but it was often out of sight, out of mind. 
Would vote to bring back better.
