They really don’t like for you to export the key. I did and don’t talk ab it bc I feel like it goes against message and also ppl b peoplin aka irresponsible

I assume "they" is merkle? Either way, I find it a must-have to have access - When they're down - With better tools that work for certain things

it's fine if you're a crypto old timer who understands self custody. mine is in Rainbow. but except for a few insecure mini app smart contracts, every loss I know of so far has been from a leaked seed phrase. like other parts of Farcaster you can opt out and do it yourself if you really want to, but it means we can't help you if you mess it up.

I mean I don’t talk about this!!! I was just warning him about the inevitable which did in fact happen by way of QT from Varun, who was nice but still! I don’t see it purely driven by security. There for sure are business reasons why you would discourage using other wallets You have to have same mindfulness as any other wallet, and that is admittedly hard to come by even for advanced users
