Why didn’t anyone tell me that birding is like Pokémon for people that enjoy woods?

I have been wondering if I could make a social game for all of us that feel that way :) 

Wouldn’t that be fun

And now every time you travel you can get excited too about seeing the local species

You basically have built in rarity that could determine points 

Ie a robin or sparrow worth less than a blue jay which is worth less than a red tailed hawk 

And I fckin LOVE peoples bird pics!!! So that has to be included 

Been noodling think it would be such a fun project

For points you can scrape distinct sightings off of I naturalist their data is robust and public

its like poidh + farworld but with real birds 🤣

I’d lose because I don’t get out on hikes the way I used to but I would still play
