I’m still really interested in buying Pro, but it seems like without the NFT, it might not be worth it since everyone’s focused on the first 10,000 users

Yeah without the nft I wouldn’t be expecting a lot of extra benefits. But who knows!

It ceases to make the subscription a durable revenue source for the protocol when you promote this narrative, which is is kind of funny. The whole point in theory was to find sustainable protocol revenue, but because everyone is lizard brained you created a product it’s impossible to justify buying beyond the 10k 😂

Idk. I am not building a business here, so I don’t care either way. It’s just funny to me to see people who are building businesses on the protocol actively promote narratives that make it long term unsustainable

What you are saying here indirectly is “do not buy this, there are no benefits for you to owning it” 

That is why I have some confidence. I am watching people actively discourage potential buyers. I myself certainly can’t tell people 4 pics and 10k words is worth it in light of this 

It of course could play out differently, but it would come at the expense of the status

Both of following can be true:

1) the non-Merkle community will not build perks for people who dont hold the NFT #1 (that's the composable thing!)

2) Merkle in future drops figures out how to offer NFT #2 subscription  that feels FOMO precisely due to the success of this time, getting people excited about Next Thing
