I like Anna Hackett. She has some paranormal stuff that’s a little too weird for me, but her contemporary stuff is decent.

In general the best signal an author is decent are 1) if they have a legit publisher and 2) are available on Libby. For some reason those romance authors end up being pretty good imo.
