Having to 1099 to use Farcaster wallet is an extreme bummer. I know there isn’t a way around it, but it’s a non starter for most people. Coinbase wallet isn’t going to make you 1099 to use their product. So there is a legal route, but I understand not wanting to risk it.

You don't have to 1099 to use Farcaster Wallet. You have to 1099 to get rewards. I can guarantee you 100% that Coinbase will follow IRS rules.

Quickly learned this from this post! 🤣 Ty for the reply tho I thought before that it was you have to 1099 after you reach $600 threshold
