The problem with AIs isn't the slop that they are producing on social media. It's the cognitive debt humans are building up when they leave the thinking to a machine. 

The hard part is to decide when you have to step in. Is it ok for research to be done by an LLM? What about reading a paper and noting down important insights? At what stage is saving time not worth it anymore?
