While reading the Score by C Thi Nguyen I realised two things
- since undergrad I’m alternating between heavy quant focus to heavy human focus.
- What is really exciting about social networks/graphs is that they look super technical, but simultaneously they are a story and you need words and context to make sense of them.
Given that I alternate between technical (numbers) and stories (people) it makes sense that I love working and analysing social networks.
Only took me 20 years to figure this out
