Interesting fact about coffee: according to legend, in the 9th century, the Ethiopian shepherd Kaldim noticed that his goats became unusually energetic after eating berries from a certain bush. Interested, he tasted these berries himself and felt a surge of cheerfulness. He shared his discovery with the monks of a local monastery, who began using a decoction of these berries to keep awake during long prayers. Thus began the history of coffee as an invigorating drink.
