Some of the best things in my life arrived disguised as inconvenience.
A missed train. A plan that fell apart. A conversation I almost didn't have.
Years later, I can trace entire chapters of my life back to moments that felt like bad luck at the time.
I've become careful with the word fortunate.
Sometimes you're fortunate because something wonderful happens.
Sometimes you're fortunate because something doesn't and you only understand the difference much later.
