Trust becomes complicated when someone else has something to lose.
I've always found the strongest kind of trust comes with a responsibility you can feel even when nobody is watching.
You hold someone's money, reputation, or future in your hands.
That's when the word fiduciary starts to mean more than a legal obligation.
It becomes a quiet question:
What would I do if my own interests were completely removed from the room?
Character gets interesting there.
