Everyone has a default setting.
Under stress, under pressure, under uncertainty... you drift back toward it.
Mine has always been to consume one more article, one more book, one more opinion before acting.
Calling it "research" sounded productive.
It was really a proclivity for postponing the moment where knowledge had to become responsibility.
You learn a lot about yourself when you stop judging your patterns...
and simply start naming them.
