Discord won't ask you to verify your age (initially) Discord will implement age verification worldwide from March 2026, progressively for all new and existing users. https://cyberinsider.com/discord-expands-age-verification-system-for-teen-users-worldwide/ So why do I say it won't ask you to do it? The general use of Discord won't be affected, the identification will apparently be requested if you want to: · View adult/sensitive content · Speak in public scenarios · Receive messages from someone you're not friends with In addition, there will be a particularity. It seems that the identification won't be the typical one of sending your document to third-party servers and that's it. They will supposedly take into account if you play, schedules, etc... to assume if you're an adult. If it's considered that you might be a child, a local verification can be carried out on the device using AI. We'll have to wait to see how this implementation is carried out and, above all, if with all the fuss it's actually implemented.
