Proton donates +1.27 million to organizations for privacy and digital rights.
Proton has donated more than 1.27 million dollars to organizations that defend privacy and digital rights, thanks to the results of its charity campaign Lifetime Account Charity Fundraiser of 2025.

The initiative raised 1,073,800 dollars through the sale of more than 100,000 tickets to over 50,000 participants, to which Proton added an additional 200,000 dollars, reaching a total of 1,273,800 dollars.
The beneficiaries are:
· EDRi - Digital rights and laws
· Digitale Gesellschaft - Digital advice and human rights
· NLnet - Open source projects
· WITNESS - AI detection and verification
· Hack Club - Engineering for teens with privacy
· The Center for Humane Technology - AI harms and human policies
· Transparency International - Anti-corruption and transparency
· Lighthouse Reports - Investigating abuses
· Open Markets Institute - Antitrust and democracy
· The Insider - Against propaganda
The total charity contributions have already exceeded 5 million dollars in 8 years.
