The older I get, the fewer people I abhor. Certainty has a way of softening once you've seen how complicated lives can become.
Ideas are different.
I can understand why someone believes something... and still feel a deep obligation to oppose it.
Maybe wisdom isn't measured by how many people you condemn.
Maybe it's measured by how fiercely you defend your principles without forgetting the humanity of the person standing across from you.
