EchoFi combines "Echo," which signifies feedback and resonance from community voices, with "Fi," short for "Finance" or "DeFi." This makes it an excellent name for a web3 app that rewards users for their feedback. Additionally, it has a nice play on the word "amplify."

This year I built the following: I levelled up my smart contract skills on Base Learn (docs.base.org/base-learn), completing Structs, Mappings, and Arrays exercises and deploying contracts to Base Sepolia. Debugging was tough (a single letter error had me stuck 😅), but the reward of earning 8 out of 13 NFTs so far made it worth it. Check them out here: github.com/kaymunity. I also boosted my Talent Score (passport.talentprotocol.com) to 28 on Talent Protocol and connected with the Base Guild (guild.xyz/base) to earn roles in the Base Discord. As a Smart Contract Developer in view, I’m excited to keep building and bringing the world on-chain. Shoutout to all the amazing builders on Base—let’s keep pushing forward! 💙🔵 My year has just been learning on base, let's do more in 2025.

the #1 thing that @solana has right now over @ethereum is people with money who are willing to deploy in a risk forward way at the edge and thereby push forward innovation. this is how innovation happens — but it's often messy in a way that can turn folks off (eg it's "just speculation"). but the lack of this means less capital bandwidth for ideas and experiments to both get funding and to break through into virality via price. memes and the innovation downstream of them are a prime example of this. if @ethereum wants to succeed, this needs to change — and we are seeing signs of it on @base, but it's still early and we need a lot more help. so let this be a call to action: if you are someone who believes in Ethereum, holds significant amounts of ETH, and wants the economy to grow, now is the time to step up.. if this is you, please DM or shoot me an email at [email protected]. will be coming up with a plan in the new year. 🙏🏼
