OK I finally finished listening to Zohran Mamdani's appearance on Odd Lots. 

I thought he did well. I wish he had engaged with the Joe Weisenthal's questions about why non-white working class voters seem to recoil most at left-wing policies that high-educated whites embrace. 

Overall, though, I felt the interview was a little softball. 

Given how much more likely he is to secure the nomination, I wish Andrew Cuomo would go on a show like this!

Yesterday, I had coffee with Whitney Tilson, the former hedge funder running as a centrist in the primary. 

He was reluctant to attack Cuomo, his most obvious competition for voters, because he's mostly focused on stopping Mamdani, whom he sees as a real threat.

Zohran Mamdani is surging in the polls — and so is his dangerous, divisive rhetoric. We’ve seen the protests. The chaos. The rising antisemitism. New York deserves a mayor who will stand up to hate — not fan the flames of it.
