Here’s how I see the @base.base.eth saga unfolded:
@coinbase spent years fighting for a seat at the table so we could increase economic freedom around the world. We were pushed back by outdated systems, governments and people who actively worked to hold us down.
Then @barmstrong made a visionary move, he empowered @jesse.base.eth to build our own table: BASE!
We all filled the seats with hardworking builders, creators, and contributors who made Base impossible to ignore.
And now the tides are turning. Everyone wants a seat at the BASE table!
Good thing ‘base is for everyone’. The table will always be open to those ready to contribute, help update the system, and bring billions of people onchain.
We know this is no easy task. It takes hard work, relentless optimism, and conviction while staying grounded, day in and day out. Grateful for each one of you, especially those who have been there since day one. 🙏
I see my place in this saga as a small pioneer but also as a path to my self-actualization. I’m deeply grateful to have contributed, even if in a small way.
