📍 The Polo Bar, NYC firstly, shoutout @zinger for the resy! some of you may know how hard it is to get a resy at this restaurant so am very grateful here. someone even tried to pay me for the booking at the door??? what we ordered for 4: 1. tuna tartare - good appetiser with avocado bits ⭐️ 2. popover (complementary) - my first time ever eating a popover and it was incredible!! ⭐️⭐️ 3. watermelon, feta and arugula salad (not pictured) - fresh and light but not much to review tbh ⭐️ 3. corned beef bites (this is off menu but just let them know) - 6 sliders of their signature corned beef sandwich. the bread was toasted perfectly, the beef was melt in your mouth soft ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4. the polo bar burger + fries - a classic burger that you’d expect at a higher-end restaurant. i loved how it wasnt sloppy and overly meaty. fries were great!!! ⭐️⭐️ 5. salted caramel sundae - the ice cream complemented the caramel corn perfectly ⭐️⭐️ 6. polo bar brownie with vanilla icecream - drizzled with choc sauce, brownie was dense but not overpowering ⭐️⭐️ ambiance and service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ great, attentive service throughout the night. we felt well taken care of. beeeeautiful interior with cosy lighting. would i recommend? ⭐️⭐️⭐️ a resounding yes! it’s a great place to come to with your friends and family.
