@base batch demo day season 2 was a hit back to back! Yo!! So many amazing projects, it’s so hard to pick a fave. These 3 projects really stood out to me: - @ifalabs by @grammyboy, a first of its kind, trustless multi-chain oracle infrastructure built specifically for Stablecoins in emerging market. With the rise of local Stablecoins, Ifa labs is definitely a much needed product, plus their demo video was “ok, banger”!!🔥 - @BitsaveProtocol by @karlagod, a multichain savings protocol, onchain income earners like myself definitely need more savefi products like Bitsave.💯 - @getzerocard by @folajindayo lets you use crypto like cash, no friction. A public good is something that is: Non-excludable - You can’t stop people from using it, because of their race, social status or economic status, so it's Free for all that need it. Non-rivalrous - One person’s use doesn’t reduce its availability to others, so it's readily available at anytime, 24 hours, 7 days a week. So in real life, a primary public good is Air. Now when you bring it into context as to "what is a Public Good in the web3 space"?; - Open-source protocols - Educational resources - Uncensorable communication tools - Decentralized infrastructure - And even web3 communities, processes and systems That benefits the collective web3 ecosystem are considered Public Goods.
