On token burns: I get that burning tokens shouldn’t be the key value prop for a project But burning tokens shouldn’t backfire, or can they? What are the negative effects of burning tokens? In @indexy trading, when someone buys or sells an index (via $i or USDC), fees are split in the following ways: 1. $i % goes to the index creator 2. $i % goes to indexy 3. $i % is burned If USDC was used, we buy $i for those 3 purposes. We are happy with this system as it rewards all the parties involved Interested in hearing counter arguments or how to improve it
