something i find interesting about my mindset with project coins on different chain (evm vs. sol)
fc project coins are the easiest for me to buy/receive and hold without looking at price.
it’s a product of my trust in the fc network of committed builders who build products that are novel and useful (ex: bracky, native, bankr)
i can and will typically take profits to de-risk but it’s not a trade mentality, it’s a long term investment in people
on sol, project coins are entirely a profitable trade. im buying into them with the expectation of turning a profit within a specific timeframe.
even for products that i find novel and useful, it’s more a bet on a trend/narrative than a bet on the actual team. there’s more monitoring and zero expectation of holding for many months, let alone a year or more.
