walker is a really interesting guy right now he's basically the best at all the meaningful metrics—barrel rate, hard hit rate, bat speed, avg exit velo. this also isn't new, he had great bat speed, hard hit rates, and avg exit velo last year i think he's a potentially meaningful change in approach where he's letting the ball travel deeper and trusting his bat speed. most of his batted balls are going straight/oppo the main red flag with him is still his k and whiff rates. still much higher than league average and striking out ~28% will limit his ability to maintain his average power is definitely real and this is probably a meaningful breakthrough, but expect regression in his avg along with some rough cold streaks where he k's a lot
