while there’s more parity in the nba, a salary cap system pits players against each other
take a super max deal? make it harder for teammates to max their earnings or get traded for more roster flexibility
fans still have to watch their favorite team deal their home grown stars
and then players have to take team friendly deals to fit under the cap to join a competitive team while ownership reaps the upside
