kuminga’s situation has been fascinating to watch
he’s always wanted a larger role and believed in himself, but felt the warriors squandered a lot of his potential
he initially turned down a 3 year $75m deal (3rd year team option) and settled for a 2 year $48m (2nd year team option which was declined) and now signs a 2 year $13m deal
in terms of math, he’s gave up a 3/$75m and ended up with a 3/$37m
not sure that initial bet on himself paid off, but hopefully the wolves can help him grow into his potential
side note: wolves really revamped to be way more athletic
