then we can use analytics to put context around the impact of that mindset shift:
- soto's raw sprint speed is in the 13th percentile of baseball
- another way to look at that is that he's 507 out of 557 qualified baseball players
- he led the national league in stolen bases (38) and produced 2.7 base running runs above average (35th most in baseball)
if we assume one war is equivalent to ~10 runs, then soto produced about .27 war just from his base running
