I just love it. I'm a hobbyist, so having a 1 lb yield is perfect. Let's me do a couple weeks at a time and it doesn't have a big footprint. Its a gas drum, so temperature is stable and well distributed for even roasting. Had a friend help me modify it with an additional probe that goes directly into the bean mass, so I have temp for both exterior and internal. Got it used from the friend that got me into roasting. Probably been operating for 20+ years without incident.
