so am I missing something on Farcaster’s value prop to “web3” or am I correct in seeing nothing really novel or innovative here…? 

it offers just about nothing in the realm of blockchain and decentralized tech — it’s a high availability SQL db at best 

if you’re building anything in the social/community realm, Lens Protocol appears to be superior in every aspect 

now the recent priority tilt towards monetization, which would be viable if the content and discourse on here was in some way unique and exclusive to Farcaster, but it’s not

what’s left is a shallow network where the only action incentivized is value siphoning on razor slim margins by way of gimmicky point systems, engagement farming, bot networks, etc. 

enlighten me if I’m completely missing the mark here, but currently don’t have a clue what that could be
