Just finished this textbook (Introduction to Flight, also wrote compressible flow), took about a ~month or two. Skimmed it (obviously) but solid. Good refresher overall. Glad I did it. 

Some thoughts:
- Ch.1~6 was a lot of basic aerodynamics, airfoils, etc
- Ch.7 was just control systems review
- Ch.8 astronautics 
- Ch.9 Propulsion, started to get interesting: I'd actually never heard of arc-jet thrusters before, turbojet, turbofan, ramjet, scarmjet, electric propulsion options
- Ch.10 Hypersonics: compressible flow, need to learn more about compressible flow

Good. Took notes but I probably won't read them. Ok, onto the next.

His historical narrative of flights before the formal part was what got me hooked. We even named a glider construction competition we hosted in college after Lilienthal; first learnt about him through this book.

Anderson is the best - I remember reading some of his other textbooks back in the day. Now revisiting them, and actually enjoying them for its content

JD Anderson is legendary. Love his writing style too, makes complicated concepts quite accessible.

I'd read more time if i could
or i could increase the bits per second of sending information into my brain
but would also have to comprehend it properly (which takes a lot of time)

I was confused but find it so casual at first. Like yeah, fight, aerodynamic make sense to me lol
