I think about psychoanalysis was a discipline that emerged after the Industrial Revolution - in some way the more “time we save for ourselves” or the more we have “time to think” about who we are how are mind works and other non survival oriented questions regardless of whether that’s bad or good Previously, in each historical time period we had less time to think about things. we needed to do to move physically and honestly I think moving is a way to let go of emotions

This isn't really a call to "return to the old times" or a romanticism of bygone eras - I don't think we have that option, even if you live in the middle of nowhere - sure maybe that's what you want to generally do - but this isn't a solution for everyone (yes, everyone go live in the middle of nowhere, impossible) So there needs to be another way - another way to be - which is - accept we live in the times we live in, work with those constraints - and ultimately thrive - the only way is through. So maybe individuation is important now
