Could they have imagined that The Jane Byrne Interchange in Chicago would be built and serve ~400,000 cars a day in 2004 and be one of the most congested interchanges in the world?

In 1867, Sylvester Roper in invents the Steam Powered Velocipede. Unfortunately he is killed by his invention before it becomes a reality. 1885, The Daimler Reitwagen is introduced, built by Gottlieb Daimler. By adding a combustion engine to the recently popularized bicycle, he was the first to patent it and market it

When new technologies are invented there’s an overwhelming feeling that one must figure the future out, you have to have the a roadmap, planned out.
