When the Benz Patent Motorwagen was first introduced in 1885 by Karl Benz, practically the first car ever made - a motorized quadricycle Could they have imagined that The Jane Byrne Interchange in Chicago would be built and serve ~400,000 cars a day in 2004 and be one of the most congested interchanges in the world?
