@juli

no surprise that crypto investors love a 100x and many crypto teams with tokens optimized for attention vs fundamentals in the past years but promoting "billions or bust" or "trillions" must be among the cringest, not to say worst, marketing stunts - especially when clinging onto it while things go from bad to worse. Setting a big vision never hurts, but promoting what works, setting expectations well, underpromising, overdelivering should be standard. You can also check stocks that overpromise and underdeliver numbers each quarter - there's no investors whatsoever trusting management, enabling them to trade at a slight premium to fundamentals. PS: Pretty confident that it would serve crypto well, if more communities were proud about building a sustainable business, a sustained marketcap valued 10m or 50m that gives them the chance to earn some salary, spend on growth, spend more time on it and potentially even create a bigger thing one day (except the people would prefer to launch another coin)
