Could have been a Perfect love story for 4 years but also ended In a massive fallout.
That Said, The issue feels like a nothingburger but prob it‘s going deeper: Elon realized Trump doesn’t actually want to do any cuts or support his libertarian Ideals (except a few Trump for whatever reason likes) and feels his DOGE work was useless, while his business/EV subsidies get cut etc.
Meanwhile Trump just differentiates between loyal friend / supporter and enemies & cares for power & his own monetary success.
