1/ things that excite me in crypto today:
-stablecoins banking the unbanked in the developing world and helping them hedge against their own countries' fiat monetary debasement, while also simplifying the multi-trillion dollar remittance market
-unstoppable private internet money (ZEC) becoming a liquidity blackhole
-defi simplifying complex financial concepts into 1-click deposits for the layman who needs to earn some yield on his stack (@vitalik.eth's "Low Risk DeFi")
-crypto rails allowing for people to take back control of (and monetize) their own data
-privacy-enhancing technologies creating a safer internet for everyone by being able to prove a specific thing without having to show all of your cards to the entire world in the process
-onchain commerce removing the extractive middlemen so that small businesses can work harder for the right reasons and not for the wrong ones
