i think the vast majority of people, even pseudo anon cryptonatives, don't want a canonical token because of internet anon liability (even ignoring regulation).

many can't handle attention on its own, adding money severely amplifies.

my ideal socialfi product would be something like social microfunds where you can invest in ppl and get some share of their pnl or something

I also think content coin model is interesting if a creator token can get buybacks or something from fees of that creator’s content coins

but these both may require regulatory shifts lol, don’t think pure memecoins would work for social tokens

I think you need a product experience built around it, not just be a generic token launcher for people

time fun interesting for this reason, i think friendtech chat product was also interesting, and fantasy top time-boxed trading games based on engagement etc.

scoop would be an example of something that did not have any novel experience built around it, along w one-off social tokens ppl launch
