my cousin has a dog. we live in a place that doesn’t have fences next to a road. a few days ago we were walking to my parents house (you walk a bit and then cross a side by side countryside road).
the dog followed us. we asked it to stay there on its house but it followed us. i didn’t want it to follow us but there it was. so then we get to the highway and nacha crosses with ema on her chest and i stay with mila by my hand
the dog? walked halfway and stayed on the middle of the road. a truck was coming at high speed. i knew what was coming. and i knew the consequences it would have forever on my daughters
LUCKILY. the truck braked and didn’t have any cars behind. i was so angry. im still angry. the irresponsibility of my cousin and not being able to take care of her dog almost costed my family a lifelong trauma of seeing it exploding under a truck
