@jpfraneto

today was my turn to take care of the girls as nacha went to the gym on the morning. we played together, had breakfast, ema took a nap on my chest, etc. perfect morning overall but i don’t want to talk about that. i want to talk about the transition moment. when she arrives and i feel this strong urge of: LFG time to go to work!! usually i got up fast from what i was doing to get ready to go. it is MY time for myself now, right? but i started sensing that it was a bad message for the girls. is dad annoyed of being with us? so now i do a very subtle trick that helps a lot and is basically an extension of my meditation practice. try it! it’s good stuff when she (or he - works both ways) arrives, be subtle and put on a vibrating timer on your watch. 8 minutes. no more. no less hopefully no one catched you. the point is for that timer to be invisible. only for you then try the next 8 minutes to be as present as you can with *them* and when it runs off, just get up (not in a rush) and move on with you
