part of the reason why social media makes us feel miserable is because we are constantly measuring the worth of our ideas (that are generally experienced as who we are) with the perception other people have of them you cast and no one cares? you feel bad inside. probably. there is something wrong to you. judgement ai flips this upside down because when you are interacting with an LLM, by definition and design your ideas are always good. there is always a response that feels like motion *at least that response exists. you know that with certainty* and that generates something different than casting into the void and hoping someone will care (if you really dont care congrats you won the game of dopamine) i wonder where is the balance between these two tho. it is somehow related to authenticity. but current systems reward virality, without them caring necessarily about authenticity what comes next?
